Ankaa beta terms

These terms apply to the private beta of Ankaa v1 at ankaa.chat, run by NOVA Enterprise Limited ("NOVA", "we"), a New Zealand company. By signing in, you agree to them. Our privacy page explains how we handle your information.

What the beta is

• Ankaa v1 is NOVA's own LLM in an early test. It is built on an open model, and we have not finished training it.
• The beta is free and by invitation only. Your invitation is for you; please do not share your sign-in link.
• Each tester can send up to 40 messages a day, and the beta as a whole has a daily total. Limits reset at midnight, New Zealand time.
• Ankaa sleeps when nobody is using it. The first answer after a quiet spell can take about 4 minutes while it wakes up.

Ankaa can be wrong

Ankaa can make mistakes, including wrong facts, numbers, dates and steps. Check anything important before you rely on it or send it to someone. Do not use Ankaa as your only source for legal, medical, financial or safety decisions.

Using Ankaa well

Please do not:

• use Ankaa to break the law, harm people, or create content that harasses, deceives or exploits anyone;
• put passwords, card numbers, IRD numbers, health details or other people's private information into your chats;
• try to get around the limits, sign-in or security of ankaa.chat, or use automated tools to send messages.

We may pause or end your access if these terms are broken, or to protect other testers or the service.

Your words and Ankaa's answers

What you write stays yours. You may use Ankaa's answers as you like, subject to the law and to checking them first. We do not use your chats to train Ankaa.

Changes and the end of the beta

This is a test, so we may change Ankaa, change the limits, or pause or end the beta at any time. We will try to give you notice by email. When the beta ends, chats saved in your browser stay there until you delete them.

Our responsibility

The beta is provided free, as it is, while we test it. To the extent the law allows, NOVA is not liable for any loss from using Ankaa's answers. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or other New Zealand law that cannot be excluded.
